For J2s,
After CNY, practice will be on 22nd and 23rd of Feb. In lieu of CT1s, practice will be cancelled until end of CT1s. Practice schedule will be as followed,
13, 15(during Camp), 18, 20 March. :)

For J1s interested to join harmoc, here's the details!
Come down to LT4, Next wed, 17th Feb, at 3.30pm! Bring along 70bucks in total, 65 will be for harmoc, 2.50 each for coursebook and harmoc fund! Once again, no music background is required, only passion!

Hey Announcements for today are as followed

1. Confirm concert date
Concert date is on 21st May 2010. In light of SPA on 18th, on 17th we won't have rehearsals but i can't promise we won't have short practice on that day, it all depends :)

2. Venue for sectionals
Venue for tmr sectionals are V42,43,44. We will move to T11, 12, 13 at 5pm.

3. CNY performers take note!
CNY rehearsal will be on 10th Feb, from 4.30 to 4.45 at canteen

4. Tea Party
On 10th Feb from 3.30 to 4.15, venue to be confirmed, all without other CCA commitments to be present

5. CCA Walkabout
On 3rd Feb, from 3pm to 6pm. Our booth will be in front of the foundtain near PT. All to sign up for short performance slots at 3.30/4/4.30. We will need 12performers per slot, 4per section :) Take note that you can sign up for your old section, because we will be playing last year concert songs :)

Hey everyone! Seniors and awesome current Harmoc members!!

Harmonica Band NY Gathering

Date: 2nd January 2010
Venue: Sentosa / Siloso Beach (Sapphire Pavillion)
Time: 12pm - 6pm

The gathering will consist of a potluck for lunch, some beach activities / indoor if its raining like twister mass murderer, I know it sounds boring but if you do have any suggestions please let Rachel know :D After that there will be a gift exchange which will be awesome! We will probably end with like dinner at Vivocity at about 6pm!

• We’ll all meet at 12pm - Harbourfront MRT station control room!

• After that we’ll take a tram into SENTOSA (*shakes body*) so please prepare $3 for entrance fee

• Potluck will start straight after most people have settled down, if not the food will turn cold! So it will be eating and walking around to talk and talk! And camwhore of course, harmoc members should own the skill of camwhoring excessively HAHA I’m kidding. (No actually I’m not :x)

• After that we’ll have some games together!

• Then it will be gift exchange, where everyone will be seated in a bigggg circle! So please prepare a gift that cost about $5 for gift exchange!

• At about 5.30pm we will wrap up, take a group photo and head back to vivocity for dinner!

• Oh yes please bring food for the potluck too, post on the Facebook event wall if you have any suggestions, or you can tell me directly! :D

1. For non syf members, training will be on monday 5-7pm ( leanne will lead you all ) and on saturday 1.30pm-3.30 pm. Meet at the concourse on saturday and venue on monday will be confirmed soon.

2. For SYF members, saturday's practice will lengthen to 9am - 5.30 pm. the format for saturday will be :

Election process:
There will be interview sessions for all applicants soon and shortlisted applicants from the interview will have to make a speech presentation to the whole band. 1. There will be no practice for the J2s next monday due to CTs, but J1 prac will continue as usual from 530 to 730 at LT 2.

2. March holiday camp's date have been confirmed to be on 16-17 march 09. ( monday and tuesday) Everyone are strongly encouraged to attend! J2s please place the consent forms in Mr Lee's locker (locker 79) by next monday and J1s please hand up to Mr Lee by next monday practice. Those who do not have the consent forms please get it from jieying/ Mr Lee asap.

1. our booth will be allocated at the concourse beside the stage. we will have 2 performances at 1040 and 1340 at the concourse .here is a small portion of the concourse map:

1. last practice on 4 august 2008 (next week mon)
Next week's practice will be the last cca practice for this term due to promo's preparations. Next week 's sectionals will still be on and section leaders will inform you which day it will be.

2. Open house performance
Open house will be on 4 Oct 2008 and we should be having a performance for it. (not confirmed)
The songs decided will be "MaMaMia" and "Think Of Me". We will inform you on post promos practices for open house performance when the time comes.(:

3. Jacket/collar pin
those who order or wanna order(including seniors) the jacket please contact yunhan by this thursday to try out the sizes and pay clarice/yunhan(for the seniors) $33 by next mon 4 aug. those not ordering please pay clarice $4 for collar pin + harmoc fund by next mon too(: we will not be accepting any last minute orders after thursday hence please contact yunhan soon if you want!:Dthankyou!

2.Harmoc shirt/jacket + collar pin
-the collar pin will be made complusory and it is $3.50 each. more details wil be given soon.

Everyone to meet at pasir ris mrt at 4pm sharp to take shuttle bus service to loyang aloha chalet. Shuttle bus will leave at 4.15pm sharp. Next shuttle service will only be at 5.15pm so do reach punctually at 4pm. J1 and J2 SLs to gather your section and take the bus thr .

1) Practice will stop for 2 weeks due to Common test and spa. practice will resume in March hols. more details will be out later.

3) Interact performing ppl. it's this fri 2 at concourse. we will leave the sch at 4.15 at bus bay. we will be taking SBS bus though. no chartered bus. haha. performance start at 5.10. can leave later. if u wan to stay until the whole event it over, there's DINNER provided. but think i will end rather late.
